The Minsk Herald is looking for a English native standard speaker to join our multi-cultural team. It is likely you will have studied as a translator or journalist and enjoy sub editing, translating, proofing and quality assurance work. You should be able to demonstrate a keen interest in Minsk and Belarus, and be happy to work as part of a team.
Your role will be primarily focused editing & summarising text. Quality assurance is essential as you will be responsible for the final proofing.

Journalist/Reporter - Minsk, Belarus - Salary Negotiable
As Reporter/Journalist you will be covering the events in Minsk and Belarus. This position involves providing coverage of general news and analysis in your specialist subject matter along with related markets. The position also involves shared editing, proofreading and other editorial duties. Some travel is involved.
You will be an experienced Journalist/Reporter with knowledge of working across an international market sector. Excellent English skills are required and other languages would be beneficial. Finance/business journalism is desirable, as is newswire experience. Demonstrated numeracy skills would be highly advantageous.

The Minsk Herald is working with a growing number of professional fashion models, and we require a photographer who would like to practice taking some basic and more advanced shots and then publish your work in our forum Gallery. We have certain shots we'd like, but of course you are able to practice any techniques or shots you'd like.
Our ideal photographer would be someone who is new to photography and is maybe a hobbyist, but who would relish the chance to work with fashion models to improve his/her skills. In the past we have taken on intern photographers with some great results.

This position is absolutely integral to the business, as not only will you be required to build the marketing function from the ground up, you will help shape the future direction of the business.
As Marketing/Sales Manager your duties will include;
- Generate sales opportunities by identifying appropriate business targets, securing high-level appointments, executing a strategic sales process, and managing the prospect to close
- Manage and execute all opportunities from lead through to cash
- Working with external influencers such as PR, journalists and analysts
